Spring Break

Well Spring Break was here and gone already.

AJ was off for a week and Troy took a week off to. So to give me my time I was put on a bus at 6:30am and shipped off to Grande Prairie for a few days to my friends Kim's lace. Thats right you heard me I got to be off for a few days from kids,husband and HOUSEWORK.

The bus ride was approx. 5hrs and 25min from Edmonton to Grand Prairie. We did alot of little stops in towns for the bus driver to pick up parcels and mail. I slept maybe for an hour total on the bs but the drive up was very nice and beautiful.

Once there in Wemble< Grande Prairie. Kim took me around the town. It was very beautiful there. ALot of barns and cows lol. I didn't get to see and Elk or Buffalo though they were never near the road.

On Thursday I got to see moose (female ones ) so no antlers and female deer too (becasue they had no antlers either so they were females I leaned that one from my mother when I was telling her.

I have never seen moose or deer in the wild liek that before thas right I have never seen them before only in a park with them behind a fence

I picked up a new hobby too scrapbooking LOL thanks Kim LOL

I also went to a  concert my first night there Corb Lund Iam not a big country music fan but I thought I wouuld give it a try. Not to keen on it LOL. But the opening act he was good a singer though liked him.

The one thing I liekd about the signers is that they sang local type music about the oil feilds and about the Maritimers and also the codl weather. No offence but only Canadians would really understand the cold weather part of the songs LOL.

But all in all I had to come home on Saturday another aprrox 5 hr drive but thats becaue it snowed that day roads were bad but I had a good time and Kim's little girl Alex kept calling me Auntie she is so cute she can call me aunt anytime.

So to end Sring Break we had AJ's birthday party on Sunday and 3 of the boys stayed the night on Saturday. But the party was good and everyone had fun thats all that matters.
